INTO EVERYONE'S LIFE A LITTLE RAIN MUST FALL

"Every man/woman is a nation unto him/herself, a nation inhabited by many thoughts, feelings appetites, and talents. Every man/woman is a nation of consciousness."

Ernest Holmes,                     --Living the Science of Mind

A few sayings that are related to spring are, "April Shower's bring May flowers" and "Into everyone's life a little rain must fall." Both are a way of saying "God never gives us anything we can't handle."

Challenges may come up, and they may seem like obstacles, but after we have resolved them, we can realize that they were stepping stones to something new and improved. A divorce, followed by a wonderful new relationship; losing a job, resulting in a magnificent new one; thinking that life has nothing more to offer into, finding a splendid new Spiritual Teaching that truly speaks our language of mind and heart-all of these allow a shift to a new life. I look at all of these examples as a resurrection into a new way of thinking about life.

May you be renewed every day of your life, and may you spread love and light to every person who crosses your path!

"Into our lives sometimes a little rain does fall, but if we put our trust in God, if we know that with God all things are possible then the clouds' silver linings come shining through."

Sandra Lindsey Smith, "Life's Garden of Weekly Wisdom"

What wonderful new things have resurrected into your life? A you a different person than you were ten years ago? Do you share that optimism with wild abandon to others? If so, give yourself a pat on the back; if not, find a way to see any would-be obstacles as stepping stones.

Love and light,

Rev Sandy Smith
