FIRST CAR

"How you make money is more important than what you make."

My first car was a 1961 Volkswagon Beetle. I got it in 1974, for sixty dollars. It was very beat-up, but it was my pride. There were tears all over the ceiling cloth, and I patched them up in many different material scraps, in mant different colors. The gas tank indicator didn't work, so I had to watch the mileage and fill up every 100 miles. It was so beat up, but I really loved that car.

Life is a little like that first car, some of the things you like didn't cost that much. Sort of like gifts that are given with love, random acts of kindness, feelings you have towards friends, family, and pets. it is really true that it's the thought that counts.

Now I drive a  2012 Hybrid Camery. What I love about it is the mileage it gets and the money I save on gas. I fill up once a month on gas, and it used to be four or five times a month with my last car. Good truly comes when you value what you have

"Money is like manure, it is meant to be spread around, encouraging young thins to grow." George Bernard Shaw,      --The Match Maker

How about you? What things do you value?
