0CTOBER - A TIME FOR MERRIMENT AND MIRTH
Haul out the pumpkins, pull out the Halloween wreaths, masks and holiday towels. It's time for remembering the costumes through the years, and planning for some new and fun-filled ones for this year.
Do you remember costumes from your younger years? I remember when I was about 5, my mother wrapped me in a sheet and handed me a flashlight, and told me I was "The Statue of Liberty". I was a high school drama teacher, so of course my many costumes continued through the years, a member from the band KISS, Raggedy Ann, an M&M, to name a few.
Some of those costumes included a mask, that one could always take off. In our lives today we play many roles, a parent, a health care expert for the family, taxi car driver for friends and members of the family, house cleaner, cook, and event planner. Because of those many duties, it's nice to have a time to set aside those masks of daily rountines, dress up and have some fun, and hand out a little candy to those delightful kids who come around. We all deserve a little mirth now and then.

How many different roles do you play in life? Hopefully one is just being yourself and remembering to have fun.
