BE THERE JUST TO BRIGHTEN THE WORLD
"It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice." --USPS
So often we think that we have to do something big and important to make a difference in the world, when just being a kind and loving person can make the difference in another person's life. As we travel though our day and dozens of people cross out path, we have no idea what another person may be going through. Perhaps that person may have lost a job or a loved one. Maybe there is disharmony in his or her personal life. Perhaps the smile you share or the genuine complement that comes from the heart may be the only high part of his or her day. Winston Churchill once said, "A little thing can make a big of difference."
Think of a time when you were feeling down, is there someone or some thing that brightened your day? Someone held the door for you, waved you ahead at the stop sign, or gave you the extra twenty-five cents you needed to pay your bill at the grocery? Sometimes all that is needed is a genuine smile that makes another human being feel recognized. Always give of your time, talent and treasure, it will brighten the world.
"Being tuned in to God is like being tuned in to the radio. When you are connect to a happy, positive station, you are happy and positive. When you are tuned in to a station that is sending out negativity, guess what? That's what you get. Everything that happens in life is cause and effect, the power of attraction, what you send out , you receive back."
