LIVE, LAUGH, AND BE WELL
"Love, laugh, and be well speaks to the idea of seeing the good in each and every situation. When we can find the good. shift happens."
Sandra Lindsey Smith, --Life's Garden of Weekly Wisdom"
It is said that laughter is the best way to improve a person's mood. fearful, lonely, unhappy, going through a difficult situation, all can be helped with a little bit of laughter. I have a friend whose husband died, and she said what turned her around from reliving that fact, was sitting down and watching reruns of I Love Lucy. She said it felt healing to be able to laugh, and take her mind off of the painful sadness.
If you are anything like me, something may happen, and I feel that my life is crumbling around me; but after a little time has passed, I can look back to see the reason why that event happened. I went through a divorce at 48, and I realized that it opened a path for me to discover my wonderful new faith tradition, The Science of Mind. It was like having a wonderful family all around me. It breathed Spirituality back into my life.
Laughing often brings you back to life and adds to your wellness and healthy outlook on life. Feel the feelings of those low moments in life, and be aware of the people in your life who care about you. Think of all the people you have nurtured in your lifetime, and allow yourself to be nurtured as well.
"If you observe nature at work. you will see that the least effort is expanded. Grass doesn't try to grow; it just grows. Fish don't try yo swim, they just swim. Birds don't try to fly; they just fly."
Deepak Chopra, "The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success"
What do you do to bring joy and laughter into another person's life?
Do you allow yourself to be nurtured as you nurture others?
Life is short, use it wisely by living, loving and laughing hardily!
Light, Love and Laughter,
