THANKS FOR THE CONNECTION

"Humankind has not woven the web of life. We are but one thread within it. Whatever we do to the web, we do to ourselves. All things are bound together. All things connect."

This past weekend Las Vegas Center for Spiritual living held its first New Thought in the Desert weekend. What an amazing event it was. Installing three new assistant ministers, workshops and speakers sharing their thoughts and talents, and marvelous music inspiring us all. All of this did not happen by chance. There was a deep connection of hearts, minds and spirit creating the real life magic of the unfoldment.

I thought of this connection of people working together for a meaningful experience, and I was reminded of the One Mind behind all of Creation. This event brought the right and perfect people to come together, share ideas, have deep and loving conversations, and to prepare us for numerous opportunities to blend our new ideas into an evolving reality for ourselves and our community.

I am also reminded of Spirit's Presence in everything that occurs in our lives, and I am so thankful for my connection to It, and to the connection that occurs when we commune with one another.

Namaste

"Give the world the best you have, and it may never be enough;

Give the world the best you've got anyway."

--Mother Teresa

Who are you connected to? How can you connect more often and effectively with others? Are there organizations in your community that you can connect with? Think about something that you care deeply about, animal rights, making sure that children are being cared for, making sure that the elderly are cared for in a loving way? Google a cause to see if there is an organization that deals with those challenges. You may not think that you can make a difference, but to many people you may make a world of difference.

Love and light,

Rev Sandy Smith
